Snickers Pie

You know how much I love easy recipes and that I have a HUGE sweet tooth, so you probably won’t be surprised by the recipe I’m sharing with you today… and that is a no-bake snickers pie!


It has three delicious layers – a biscuit crust, a caramel-peanut layer and a chocolate ganache layer. This pie might take a while to make, but that doesn’t mean it’s hard to prepare. The longest time you have to wait is:

1) while making the caramel

2) when the pie is setting in the fridge

And apart from that, everything is pretty quick!

  • 100g butter
  • 300g biscuits

caramel-peanut layer:

  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup cream
  • 75g butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup peanuts

chocolate ganache layer:

  • ½ cup cream
  • 150g dark chocolate, chopped
  1. Put the biscuits in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin until you get fine crumbs.
  2. Melt the butter and mix it with the biscuit crumbs.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a spring form pan or pie pan.
  4. Place in the fridge while preparing the caramel.
  5. To make the caramel: mix the sugar and water in a saucepan. Next, place over medium heat and cook without stirring, until the mixture turns into a golden brown, caramel-like color. Remove the saucepan from heat and pour in the cream (warning: the mixture bubbles a bit!). Cook for about 1-2 minutes, mixing the caramel with a wooden spoon or spatula. Remove from heat and stir in the butter (the mixture might bubble again) and salt. Pour the mixture into a glass bowl or jar and set aside to cool slightly.
  6. Mix the caramel, while it’s still warm (but not too hot) with the peanuts, and pour it on top of the biscuit crust.
  7. To make the chocolate ganache: Pour the cream into a small saucepan and heat it up until it’s warm. Put the dark chocolate chunks into the warm cream and wait for 2 minutes. Next, mix the chocolate with the cream until the chocolate is melted and smooth (do not over mix). Pour the chocolate ganache over the caramel-peanut layer and place in the fridge for minimum 2 hours. Enjoy!
